“We’ll Do Our Best To Secure Sokoto”, CP Kaigama Assures Citizens

“As elections and inauguration has been successfully conducted, we will continue to ensure that the state remained safe for all”.
These were the affirmative words from a determined invigorating Commissioner of Police in Sokoto State Command, CP Ali Hayatu Kaigama, who promised to sustained the synergy that exists between police and other security agencies with in the state particularly, that of the Nigeria Vigilante Organisation, to combat all existing and emerging crimes bedeviling the state.
Responding to an interview with journalists, Kaigama stressed that the impact of activities of bandits and other violent crimes on the people of the state is indeed worrisome.
He however assured the people that the police alongside other security agencies will fight crimes and criminality to a standstill in and around Sokoto state.
Sokoto State Police boss recalled the immediate action embark on by his DC operations shortly after inauguration, a convoy of seven police patrol vehicles team was led round major key cities/town within the state.
This he referred to as Visibility Policing Strategy since the resumption to Sokoto police command.
He assured members of the public that Sokoto metropolis, major towns across the State and public places will enjoy visibility policing, patrol and raiding of black spots in order to eradicate violent crimes, political violence, thuggery, communal clash and any other security challenges.
Noticing that his assumption of office brought a significant change in fighting crime and criminality in Sokoto State, through proper coordination with the support and collaboration of all stakeholders.
He acknowledged, “We can’t do it alone, without synergy with the military, and other sister agencies above all critical stakeholders including our dear brothers from the vigilante groups across the State which enable us to work towards reclaiming and dominating the public space
criminals,” CP declared.
Kaigama urged officers of the command to continue to be professional and dedicated as well as strive to perform their duties diligently and optimally with passion and sincerity of purpose until the people of this state sleep with their two eyes close, CP reiterated
He appreciated IGP Usman Alkali Baba for being a role model in his leadership styles, that is police in action coordination at the federal levels worthy of emulation.
Kaigama called for more collaboration with critical stakeholders, as well as everyone to get involved either directly in providing intelligent information while assuring them of identity secret. Or better still, you can indirectly involved through prayers for us that God will give us superior ideas and encourage.
