Sen Wamakko Donates 500KVA Transformer to Sokoto Community

The people’s Senator and leader of the All Progressive Congress APC in Sokoto State, Alh Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko Sarkin Yamman Sokoto has again put a smiles on another community in the state by providing 500kva Electricity Transformer on Sunday in Sokoto State.
Dr Wamakko while welcoming the community delegates who cried to him directed that a 500kva transformer be issued to them immediately.
The community is Minanata located at Tudun Wada B of sokoto South local government, where they claimed to lived without light for some months.
Earlier, the Leader of the delegation to Senator Wamakko’s residence said as reported in this press released by the SA Media to senator Wamakko in the state, Bashar Abubakar that Alh. Sani Mai Tawul, on behalf of the community explained they have been in darkness for over eight months and that all efforts to repair the old transformer was unsuccessful.
At this point the community has decided that we approach the senator to seek for his usual assistance as he has been given out transformers to other communities that suffered the same fate in the State.
On arrival at Minanata community in Sokoto that same evening, the community were agog, so excited and joyful for the donation of the new transformer by senator Wamakko.
Some of those at the reception who spoke on behalf of the community, included, Alh. Sani Mai Tawul, leader of the community, Alh. Umar Muhammad Hundred and Lawali Umar Obasanjo.
All were thankful and appreciated the effort of the senator Wamakko and prayed for Allah to continue to direct, help and guide him all the time.
Representative of the Dr Wamakko at the event, who is also the Senior Legislative Aide, Alh. Ahmad Baba Altine, called on the benefiting community to use the transformer judiciously.
He explained that the gesture by the senator is an expression of his love as a leader and concern for his people and promised to continue as this is not the first time, but has in several occasions donated such materials outside his district across the state.
