Lagos police arrest 147 suspected hoodlums in statewide ‘Operation Ko Si Aye’ sweep

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 147 suspected hoodlums during a statewide crackdown on criminal elements under the ongoing boundary sweep operation, codenamed “Operation Ko Si Aye.”
Police sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation, which entered Phase III on Saturday, July 19, was led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations and conducted across various parts of Lagos State.
The operation commenced at about 6:00 a.m. as part of sustained efforts to rid the state of criminal elements and strengthen public safety.
During the exercise, officers arrested a total of 147 suspects and recovered unspecified exhibits believed to be connected to criminal activities.
The suspects are currently in police custody undergoing profiling, while investigations are ongoing. The command said they would be charged to court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
