A call to Abians to put away pride and learn trade or any skill for future living

This call was made by the sixth President, Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture (UCCIMA), Mr. Chidi Aruoma, gave the advice, during an Economic Summit organized by the Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, at Harriette Suits, No 1, Macualay Street, Umuahia.
Mr. Aruoma also challenged the people to start joining the chamber for a bigger and better opportunities. He also said that our people should be proud of what they are doing, and what ever they produced in Umuahia, that they should labeled it Umuahia.
In his speech, the President South East Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Humphrey Mgbeonadi, appreciated the sixth President of Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture and all the members of the chamber for organizing such economic summit as he revealed that such program is where people are meant to know that wealth is not money, that is money that is evidence of wealth.
Speaking also, the President Nnewi Chamber of Commerce, Prince Jude Ochummuo and the Deputy Director, Nigeria Investment Commission, Abuja. Mr. Prime E.C. respectively advised the youths to go for expertise and certification in every field in order to be prepared to face whatever opportunity that comes and to also wake up above the mentality of waiting for someone to come and provide for them.
The highlights of that economic summit, was the displayed of some products that were made in Umuahia, by some individuals, including school children.
