APC Congress :IMC Absconds with N50m In Imo State

The Interim Management Chairman (IMC) of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State Hon. Mayor Obinna Nweke has been accused of absconded with over N50 million meant for the conduct of ward Congress.
Speaking with journalists at the end of the Congress ,a Staunch Member of the Party Chief Manna Okere said that the fund allocated to the Local Government was hijacked and absconded by the IMC and his cronies.
He disclosed that they have taken the matter to the APC Executive headed by Chief Marcellinus Nlemeigbo and
all effort to reach the IMC proved abortive
In the same vein, Chief John Anyanwu a member of the Party, however noted that Hon. Mayor Obinna Nweke IMC in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State has persistently remained a reference point before the Governor of Imo State senator Hope Uzodimma appointed him the Interim Management Chairman of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area.
He disclosed that so far Nweke has exhibited steering leadership qualities that has endeared him to the people of Ngor Okpala ,who now see him as the perfect administrator the people have been waiting for a long period.
“As far as I know Hon. Nweke is humble, honest, unwavering and doggedness in the pursuit of the Populist Agenda and I did not think that he can abscond with money meant for the conduct of Ward Congress in Ngor Okpala “
