He appreciated God and the security agencies for maintaining peace and order and assured that he is back to work for all Plateau citizens.

The atmosphere at the Assembly complex is calm with the presence of security agencies at the entrance with few staff in the offices.

It could be recalled that Justice Nafisa L. Musa of the Plateau State High court sitting in Jos, had yesterday Monday passed a judgement for the reinstatement of Abok Ayuba who was impeached on November, 2021.

Meanwhile, the senator representing Plateau North senatorial district in the Senate, Istifanus Gyang has welcome the verdict of Court that reinstated Rt Hon Abok as Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly.

In a press statement issued to newsmen Tuesday in Jos by the senior legislative aide to Senator Gyang, described the judgment as a triumph for the rule of law and common sense.

According to senator Gyang, “the verdict has vindicated Rt Hon Abok and restored the dignity of the state Assembly from Executive tyranny and reckless legislative partisanship.

“It would be recalled that at the onset of the illegal and unconstitutional impeachment of Speaker Abok, Senator Gyang brought the matter before the Nigerian Senate in Plenary pointing to Executive interference and manipulation for orchestrating the unfortunate illegality”, he stated.
