DIPA CONGRATULATES HON. PRINCE GODWIN EJINYERE

A Non-Governmental Organization, Dyslexia Initiative Project Africa, (DIPA) has congratulated the Director General of the Effurun/Uvwie/Warri and Environs Development Agency, Prince Godwin Eguriase Ejinyere.

Speaking during a special interview at the inauguration, the Founder and National Coordinator of DIPA, Ms. Enddy Sunny- Udjor said, that Prince Ejinyere is certainly the right man for the job going by his anticedents and pedigree.

Ms. Enddy maintained that Engr. Ejinyere has served the govt in various capacities with a track record, asserting that he has done a lot to better the lives of the people living in his Community and the entire State in general.

Speaking further, the humanitarian Ambassador said the Director General has been instrumental in a lot of charity works by heeding the call anytime he’s needed. Moreso, he has put in a lot of professionalism, consistency, and passion in his duties for the govt as shown in his previous appointments.

Prince Ejinyere has served the govt in various political capacities some of which include Member of the State Land Allocation Committee in 2003, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Devt. and Co-ordinator, Delta State Youth Development Committee in 2007. He was also elected as the Chairman, of Okpe Local Govt. from 2014-2017, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Devt. and Conflict Resolution in 2018 and the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring Implementation and Evaluation from 2019- 2023.

In addition to this, he has won many awards because he serves humanity, some of which include, the Award for Devt. by the Rotary Club of Nigeria, Asaba District in 2003, the Merit Award for Community and National Devt. by the Nigeria Association of Academics and Authors, University Of Benin, 2016. Best Local Govt. Chairman in Nigeria For Infrastructural Devt by Centre For Democratic Governance In Africa, And the Nigeria Local Government Devt. Award by the Senate Committee on Local Govt. in 2017, to mention just a few.

Prince Godwin Ejinyere graduated from the Prestigious Petroleum Training Institute, (PTI) Effurun, with an HND Certificate in Mechanical Engineering. Thereafter, he has attended various professional courses and certificates which include, Helicopter Ditching And Survival Training at McMillan, and Cost Engineering Certificate at Chevron Nig. UnLtd;
Fundamentals of Maintainance Management Certificate at International Energy Services Ltd.; as well as Safety Leadership Training Certification at Crescent Engineering, Aberdeen, Scotland.

He worked as a Crew Mechanic in Sedco Forex Schlumberger. Maintenance Coordinator at Texaco Overseas Petroleum Company Unlimited, Facility Management Supervisor at Chevron Nigeria Unlimited, and the Head of Department, Facility Management at Chevron Nigeria Unlimited where he retired in the year 2013.
Today he is the Duke of Orerokpe District in Okpe Kingdom.
