Eid-Il – Fitri Celebrations: Osun Government Offers Free Train Services

As part of measures to ease the movements of her citizens in and out of the state during this Eld-El-Fitri celebrations, the Osun state government has offered free train services for passengers from Lagos state.
Mrs Kehinde Odediran, Coordinating Director, Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Empowerment disclosed this in a statement, in Osogbo.
Mrs Odediran said the train would leave Lagos terminus to Osogbo by 10.am on Thursday, 20th April, 2023 and return to Lagos on Monday, 24th April, 2023 by 10.am.
She explained that the government provided the train service to lessen the financial burden of Osun indigenes in the area of transportation during the festive periods.
She therefore implored people to maximize the opportunity of the free train; assuring them of adequate security inside the train.
