Fake news another causes of insecurity, disharmony in Nigeria- Iyan Dambam

The Iyan Dambam, in Dambam local government area of Bauchi state, Muhammad Zubairu has stated that the spread of malicious and fake information is sole to the breeding of insecurity and disharmony in Nigeria,he believes it’s part of the problem we in today in this country and all hands should remain on deck in tackling the menace in Nigeria.
The traditional leader in an interview with our Correspondent during this year’s Sallah Durbar in Misau said social media is a vital platform for citizens to express their views.
Adding that the use of these social media handles is fundamental to human development, however their misuse could lead to catastrophe as been witness in some circumstances he said..
The traditional title holder thanked Bauchi state Governor, Senator Bala Muhammad for giving support to Misau emirate and other Emirates in Bauchi, pledging their total support to the administration in order to move Bauchi state forward, looking at the huge kind of infrastructures the governor is practically executing in Bauchi state and the state has become a reference point in terms of all development in Nigeria,we must join hands together in prayer and solidarity for Governor Bala Mohammad in moving the state to the greater heights.
He called on the people of Dambam to be Obedient to their District head considering his good style of leadership, stressing on the need for the people of the area to be security conscious to help secure lives and properties.
And he call on the people to corporate with security agencies in feeding them with reliable intelligence report in order to secure our society for better.
