Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has expressed optimism and firm believed that despite travel went through God is still working for the fulfillment of Plateau destiny.

Governor Mutfwang urged citizens of the state to always trust God in whatever situation they found themselves as God never forsake those who trust him.

He gave the words of admonition on Sunday during inter- denominational thanksgiving service to mark his one year anniversary in office, held at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium,Jos.

Governor Mutfwang revealed the faithfulness and mercy of God is sufficient andand as such he has no reason to burst and arrogance.

“I will not betrayed the trust Plateau people bestowed on me. Were building the state best on justice, equity and fairness devoid of I’ll will.

“Were doing the much we can to overcome insecurity, poverty and making sure our youths are put in the right track to achieve their destiny. Our desire is Plateau should be one, and therefore, we should throw away unforgiving spirit against one another,” Governor Mutfwang stated.

Taking his scripture reading from the gospel of Romans 12:1-2, titled”thanksgiving as a lifestyle”, guest preacher, Rev.Silas Yako admonished believers to always dedicate themselves to the will of God.

The clergy charged Governor Mutfwang to keep working in honesty in spite distraction by oppositions and other evil forces.

“Runaway from worldly attractions. Living the life of holiness and offer yourself as a living sacrifice to God.”

Acting National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Umar Damagum acknowledged that despite litigation and insecurity Governor Mutfwang remained focus and resilience in giving Plateau the best.

He urged the Governor not to rest in his oars as people are anticipating for more dividends of democracy.

In their separate goodwill message, President Plateau state traditional council of Chiefs and Emirs, Gbong Gwom Jos, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, represented by Mishkagham Mwaghavul, Da John Hirse, Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Father Polycarp Lubo and Senator Jonah Jang said the first year of Mutfwang administration is clear testament of selfless and courageous service to Plateau.

They implored the governor to avoid distraction and remained focus on his manifestation saying, “Do not betrayed the trust we have in you….”

There were special prayers for Governor Mutfwang and his family as well as the peace, prosperity and development of Plateau, North central and Nigeria as a whole.
