Gombe Speaker Barred From Entering Assembly

The Speaker of the Gombe State House Of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Luggerewo was on Tuesday barred from entering the Assembly premises by the striking PASAN members.

The Speaker, however appealed to the PASAN members to carry out their protest in a peaceful manner, and cautioned against hijack, saying that the government of Inuwa Yahaya is a listening government, that he will give the association fair hearing.

The Speaker said, “he spoke with me this morning, and promised to call the PASAN members for dialogue tomorrow”. I believe he will.

Meanwhile, the State PASAN Chairman, Muhammed Bello said, the strike is an indefinite one, adding that they wont be cajoled until they see the implementation of financial autonomy for PASAN.
