Gov Lalong Did Not Anoint Any Candidate- Dakum

The Chief executive officer, Human Virology center Abuja and one of the frontline governorship aspirant of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), in Plateau State, Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum said Governor Simon Lalong did not anoint any aspirant as a sole candidate for the party come 2023 elections.
Dakum who saved as Commissioner of information and communication as well as health during senator Joshua Dariye administration noted that those aspirants who walk around and telling people that there Lalong’s preferred candidates are just deceiving themselves.
The aspirant hinted this while speaking to reporters on Monday after unveiling of campaign office in Jos, saying ” I will consolidate to make Plateau greater and better.
According to him “If I am ask to do one thing for Plateau State, I will lead the path to ensure that peace and security is established or strengthen because a lot of work is going on, we have breaches here and there but once we do that every other thing will be added.”
Dakum claimed that he remained the famous candidate that the party can bring forward to retained power come 2023. “The famous candidate on the Plateau come 2023, I am not taking of APC or PDP but in the State is Dr. Patrick Dakum the reasons are simple. You don’t run for Governorship over night there must be an antecedent to your name and what you have been able to do over time.
“I think my antecedents and the things I put to bear placed me as a very excellent candidate. Percentage wise if you put all the candidates contesting for Governorship seat come 2023 I will conservatively say I am 65.7% ahead of them.”
Reacting to the narrative of a come back to power by the Joshua Dariye and he said, “we have had the Solomon Lar Government where he left office unceremoniously due to military coup, when we had the Fidelis Tapgun Government there were people that work with Solomon Lar that were part of his Government even though he did not stay for long due to military interruption.
“Then we have a Dariye Government, and in that administration there were people that work with Lar that participated in the Dariye’s Government. If you look at the Jonah Jang Government, there were people that work with Dariye’s Government that participated in that administration.
“Likewise the Simon Lalong Government, there are people who work with Solomon Lar, Fidelis Tapgun, Joshua Dariye, and Jonah David Jang Governments there are in his Government now. So, when you have a Dr. Patrick Dakum what did you expect? There will be people from all Governments!”
You recall over 20 governorship aspirants under APC are jostling for ticket in the forthcoming party primaries that will hold May this year 2022.
