Medical Doctor Arraigned for stealing BEDC Meter In Osun State By Dele Olaniyi

The,Police in Osun State has dragged a medical doctor Dr. Olajumoke Tokunbo（46） and his staff Oyinlola Oluwatosin （26）to an Oshogbo Magistrate court for allegedly stealing a BEDC meter.

The prosecutor, sergeant Adepoju Kayode told the court that the offence was committed on Jan 27th, and March 9th at Ogo Oluwa area of Osogbo.

Sergeant Adepoju, further stated that the accused persons conspired to steal a digital meter with no 14313649 installed at Crystal Hospital where both of them are working.

He further alleged that Dr . Tokunbo did assault Paul Taiwo Ishola Kehinde Fashakin and Ibrahim Lawal who are staff of Oshogbo BEDC.

He added that the accused persons did claim that the digital meter was stolen, but the matter was not reported to BEDC or the police.

However, the accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The defence counsel Sunday Abolade applied for bail which was granted by Magistrate A. A. Adeyeba in the sum of #500,000 with surety.

The case has been adjourned till April 14th
