More Teams Qualifies for Round 16 in Bayelsa Governor’s Cup
… as round of 32 matches continue on Sunday and Monday

Round of 32 matches in the Bayelsa State Governor’s Football Tournament also known as ‘Prosperity Cup’ continues today across various centers.
At the Samson Siasia Sports Complex in Yenagoa, Kiri Pogu Owokiri clash with Dream Academy School by 1pm just as Buotoru FC Igbedi face Akenfa FC at the Tombia Center also at 1pm as Dream Boys FC, Odi tackle Yenigue FC at 3pm.
At the Army College, Ebedebiri Field, Agge United confront Agbere FC at 1pm, Azagbene battle Ofoni United at 3pm while Tomorrow at the Niger Delta University, Ammasoma venue, Avisco FC Ogboinbiri challenge Rose of Sharon FC at 1pm with Oporoma FC engaging Onopa FC by 3pm.
In games decided on Friday, Odioma United, Otuasegha Movers FC, Biseni United and De Grace FC all qualified for the Round of 16.
Odioma FC pipped Apret FC Imiringi 2-1 at the Nembe Center while Otuasegha Movers FC triumphed 4-3 on penalties over over Moses FC, Sangana after playing 1-1 in regulation time.
At the Swali Center, Biseni United spanked Okodi FC 4-nil, as De Grace FC outscored Amassoma United 3-1.
On Saturday, Bayelsa United Feeders humbled Ayamalem FC 3-0, with Shegbelite FC beating Igbogene FC 9-8 on penalty shoot outs after both teams played a barren draw in regulation time while Ogbo United dismantled Ogbolo FC 3-nil.
There was a goal feast in the last game on Saturday as Crusaders Feeders FC showed no mercy, thrashing Everton FC of Ikolo 15-0.
