NBA Appeals To Obaseki To Review Curfew

The Edo State Branch of Nigeria Bar Association, has asked Governor Godwin Obaseki to review the dusk to dawn Covid19 curfew imposed in the state.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Association chairman, Piua Owoh said the move is necessary because some security operatives have turned it into an extortion ring, and huge money spinner.

The Chairman went further by saying this ridiculous, and opportunistic behaviour by some of our security personnel, has brought embarrassment to both residents, and visitors in the State, adding that they have received so many complains about the activities of security agents, especially policemen in the state.
