NED NWOKO In NASS pushes for Bill To Eradicate Malaria In Nigeria

Former house of representative member representing Aniocha North-South and Oshimili North-South from Delta state, Ned Nwoko has decided to take his fight against malaria legally by visiting National Assembly on Tuesday 8th Feb 2022.
Addressing the Senate press core, his campaign movement was captured by the Independent Media Publishers.
According to him, the Statistics figures released by World Health Organization WHO, stated that malaria kills about four hundred thousands lives in Africa yearly.
His visit to National Assembly is based on proposed bill to tackled and eradicate malaria in Nigeria through the instrumentality of legislative backing for a successful fight against the disease.
He further explained, his campaign is seeking among other things Federal government approval for the establishment of separate agency that will handle malaria challenges within the country Nigeria.
Prince Ned said, the challenges posed by malaria diseases lied on dirty environment which when addressed, the waste materials through which these insets breed can effectively be converted to generate electricity, create new jobs and bring more revenue to the country.
It has been revealed “Malaria is transmitted all over Nigeria with 76% of the population lives in high transmission areas, while 24% of the same population lives in low transmission areas.
According to 2020 world malaria report, Nigeria has the highest number of global malaria cases with 27% of global malaria cases in 2019 and accounted for the highest number of death with 23% of global malaria cases.
The philanthropist, Ned is a Strong advocate of malaria Eradication in Africa. And he is the initiator of Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Foundation who flagged up malaria Eradication campaign by symbolic expedition to Antarctica in January 2020.
