NPFL: Albert Hilary thunderous strike seal a home victory for Plateau United

A 31st minutes strike by Albert Hilary sealed all important three maximum for Plateau United football club of Jos against visiting Sunshine FC of Akure in match day four fixture of the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, 2023/2024 season.
Sunday Anthony provided assist outside the 18 yard box free kick where Albert Hilary smashed a shot on target to the net.
Peace Boys, Plateau United who played host to visiting Sunshine FC at the New Jos International Zaria Road Stadium on Sunday, enjoyed ball possession but failed to convert so many set pieces to increase their goal tally.
Speaking to newsmen during a post match interview,Plateau United Head Coach, Mbwas Mangut, actually in a couple of a days prior to the game we put into practice on how to achieved a set pieces. At the end of the day we creates so many chances but we achieved less.
“I gave kudos to the boys for playing well. We will continue working harder against our subsequent matches to ensure we properly utilize our chances.”
The Plateau United coach acknowledged that the Sunshine FC are very boory side as they are given them since last season.
Head coach of Sunshine FC, Edith Agoye said his side lost because they couldn’t dealt with an error that emanated.
He revealed they are in the process of rebuilding the club as many key players left the club last season.
Our correspondent gathered reports that, Plateau United are traveling away to keep a date with Gombe United midweek Wednesday in NPFL match day five fixture.
