Plateau APC Unveils Ex-Unijos VC As Campaign DG

The Plateau State Chapter of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has unveiled former Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos Prof. Sabastian Maimako as the Director General of it’s Governorship Campaign Council in the State ahead of 2023 general Elections.
While unveiling the campaign team at the famous Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos the State capital Wednesday, the state Party chairman, Hon. Rufus Bature vow to get rid of moles planted in the APC to stop it’s victory which they are optimistic of.
Bature Chairman who was physically angry said they are mindful of moles planted in their midst waiting to collect the resources of APC and fight the party back.
In his words, “A lot of moles are here, we are going to work assiduously to make sure we rid the moles amongst us. If you’re not in APC you are not in APC, you can not be in APC and have sympathy for another party.”
He charged the party Chairmen across the 17 Local Government Areas of the state to identify the moles in the party, stressing that they can not continue to go like that. “I have directed all the Local Government Chairmen of our party to bring out the moles in their respective Local Government Areas, If you want to go, go! We cannot continue like this.”
Bature reiterate thus, “Time has come for us to know who are the ones working for the APC, by the time we established another Government, which we have done before and will do it again, they’re the ones we are going to work with,” he pointed.
The Governorship Candidate of the APC Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda commended the credibility of the Director General of the Campaign Council stressing that he has no doubt on what he can do for the success of the team.
Governor Simon Lalong represented by the Secretary to the State Government Prof. Danladi Atu said the choice of Maimako as the DG of the Campaign Council is born out of his credibility and credentials which the APC is always proud of his stride.
The Director General of the Campaign Council Prof. Sabastian Maimako while responding to his appointment thanked the party for finding him worthy to led the Campaign Council.
He promised to work with members of the Campaign Directorate and pledged his commitment towards delivering the ruling APC in the coming elections.
Other campaign council members are; deputy DG (Operations) – Rt Hon Shehu Yipmong, deputy DG (Administration) – Comrade Jibrin Bancir, deputy DG (Election Management) – Hon. Ernest Da’a, and Campaign Council Secretary – Prof. Shem Bindas respectively.
Meanwhile, the governorship Candidate, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda is the Chairman of the campaign council while the APC Chairman, Hon. Rufus Bature is the deputy Chairman.
