Plateau:Kinsmen endorses Lalong’s senatorial candidature,reject others

The ethnic nationality under the umbrella body of Gamai unity and development organization (GUDO), has endorsed Governor Simon Lalong as their preferred candidate for Plateau south senatorial district election billed for Saturday 25th February, 2023.
The sociocultural group, GUDO, said they choose Lalong because he had performed remarkably well as a governor and he deserve to be given another opportunity to represent the zone at the red chamber of National Assembly.
Governor Lalong who is the director general of Tinubu/Shettima APC presidential campaign council, PCC, will face a litmus test from other top contestants of the opposition parties.
National president of GUDO, Albert Alkali said in the course of their fact finding mission on the activities of the “RESCUE ADMINISTRATION” on the. Plateau, they found empirical indicators with great joy which were executed with overwhelming success towards engendering a sustainable Plateau where peace and progress reigns.
Alkali mentioned that the National executive council, NEC, of GUDO having satisfied with the governor Lalong’s track record of achievements,as he has done and lobby numerous Federal projects in the state for his eight years in office passed a vote of confidence and equally endorsed his senatorial candidature.
“GUDO is calling on all the peace-loving people of Shendam, Wase, Langtang-North, Langtang-South, Mikang and Qua’an-Pan L.G.As to come out en-masse to vote for our candidate of choice.
” We implore our people to be law abiding and peaceful during the forth-coming General Elections, whilst calling on INEC to ensure the unimpeded conduct of free, fair and credible elections where every vote counts.
” GUDO invites all friends and lovers of the Gamai nation to join hands in building the nation of our dreams.
“All the interest groups, Labour Unions, Students, CLO’s, Youth and Women Organizations and groups of People living with Disabilities to rise to the occasion in a bid to engender peaceful co-existence, cooperation and development”, he hinted.
