Protest:Bauchi Vigilante Clamps down on looters,Vandals,assures public safety

In efforts to ensure complete restoration of public safety across the state,Bauchi state Vigilante and youth empowerment agency kicked off operations against”bad elements”who has been terrorizing the state,this development was revealed to media outlets in Bauchi by DG Umar Shayi.
Dr Shayi,noted that Larger numbers of dangerous youths were dispersed in their attempt to loot and vandalize public stores and properties
The Agency in collaboration with conventional security outfits call on the general public to inform them with authentic information with the view to fish out bad elements in the interest of peace,development and economic growth,said Dr Shayi
Meanwhile the state Vigilante and youth empowerment agency has commended the efforts of Bauchi state government in the areas of logistics and resources mobilization,in ensuring total elimination of criminal activities in the state.
However,in a related development,24 hours curfew was imposed in katagum local area of Bauchi State which was announced by governor Bala Mohammad,shortly after an emergency meeting with security stakeholders.
The curfew imposition becomes necessary in the interest of peace,development and public safety,the governor noted
