Sit-At-Home Order: Imolites Back-Down Uzodimma’s Directives

Even when Sit- At- Home Order by Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) was lifted, Imo Workers still back down Governor Hope Uzodimma’s directive and embarked on classical sit-at-home
Speaking with journalists at the Ministry of Information and Strategy, Port Harcourt Road Owerri, Imo State recently, one of the top Civil Servant who pleaded anonymity, said that why some Workers decided to observed the Sit-at-home order, even when it has been lifted was because of the high rate of insecurity in Imo State.
He added that since the last three months, kidnappers and armed robbers have struck at the Secretariat kidnapped workers, and carted away millions from Bank that operates at the secretariat.
“Governor Uzodimma has been moving with Military Armored Tanks with Barrages of Explosives and Sophisticated Weapons from Law Enforcement Agents serving in the State how much less common Civil Servants who were vulnerable to the decisive insecurity in Imo State”
An eyewitness, Chief Eddy Anyanwu also told Newsmen at Control Post in Owerri Imo State that there was total compliance as many Markets numbering over 1200 across the three Senatorial Zones of Imo State were not open for business, but information at some Markets, according to him revealed that some market Masters were instructed by Imo State government to open, but no trader was seen in those markets.
Similarly, all Intra and Inter Roads Networks were vacated, Over 50 Motor Parks were locked down and other Institutions such as Banks, Schools Hospitals, Hotels, and Supermarkets were also closed down.
Recently Governor Hope Uzodimma directed People of All Works of Life in the State to shun IPOB sit -at -home Order and go about their normal business which they vehemently back down in Imo State.
