Six Army Imposters Arrested in Asaba

The Operation Delta Hawk in Delta State has arrested six fake Millitary men along the Midwifery Rd Off Okpanam Rd Asaba

The arrest was carried out by men of the Operation Delta Hawk, a crack squad unit of the Nigeria Police, Delta State, on Tue. 23rd Feb. 2021.

After the arrest, the following items were recovered from the impostors. One Mercedez Benz GL350, one Toyota Corolla car with registration number ABJ 49 AA ABUJA , one Fabric National, Bayonet and pairs of Millitary kits.

The names of the imposters are as follows, Nwokoye Chidera Emnanuel 20yrs, Nwokoye Francis 24yrs, Chigozie Arinze 23yrs, Kingsley Ndukuba 32yrs, Chidera Anichukwu 21yrs, and, Chinedu Akwali 29yrs.

One of the suspects, Chidera Anichukwu who clamed to be a cadet officer from Southern Maritime Academy, Ugheli, Delta State confessed that he got the Military kits from one Mr. Hassan nicknamed （Commander)

Meanwhile, the suspects have been handed over to 63 Brigade, Military police group for further investigation, and prosecution.

Consequently, the Brigade wishes to inform the general public to be law abiding citizens, and to stay clear from such ill mannered people who parade themselves as military personnel, and to report any suspicious person’s found to the nearest military formation/security agencies.
