You’re utterances is tantamount to Plateau peace, group tackles Yahaya Jingir

A group under the umbrella body of the coalition of indigenous youths nationalities of Plateau state have described utterances of Sheikh Yahaya Jingir as a threat to peaceful coexistence of the state.
The group demand for the immediate arrest and prosecution of sheikh Jingir by security agents.
Addressing newsmen in Jos Friday, state chairman of the group Dekete Paul alongside other executive members
stated that the trending video on the social media at this time is a deliberate plan by the supposed Peace Islamic cleric to draw Plateau back to the dark days of bloodshed and wanton destruction of property.
The group revealed Sheikh Jingir mischievously played on the sensibility of Plateau people while trying to deploy his “divide and rule” strategy by labelling a particular ethnic tribe which it clearly described who Sheikh Jingir is against religious tolerance in the state,
The group asked Jingir some fundamental questions which include, Is preaching Jihad by the cleric a modern peace process?Did Islamic institution has a separate Constitution in Nigeria that threat to peace become a common agenda that always silent the state government to act on such viliant attitude under the disguised of Islamic Faith?
Why has Yahaya Jingir not published or forwarded the names of such people to security agents for investigation if his claimed against some Patriotic citizens and tribes are true?
Does Islamic Faith teaches to harsh an affront on the law of the land and the code of conduct for religious preachers despite his persistent breaches as evidence in his videos making the rounds?
“It is our firm demand that agents of social disruption such as Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir should be arrested and prosecuted accordingly in order to forestall any break down of law and order in Plateau State and indeed Nigeria as a result of his religious bigotry and incitements.
” Furthermore, we urge Security Operatives to hold Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir responsible should there be any kind or form of religious crisis otherwise their silence and inactions amount to an express endorsement and approval of the excesses of this agent of jihadism.
“On the other hand, the Coalition is hereby calling on all citizens and well-wishers of Plateau to come out en mass to exercise their franchise on Saturday, 18th March, 2023, because this is a sure way of enthroning justice and genuine peace, security and stability in our State”, he added.
