2023: Plateau APC Governorship Flag Bearer, Dr. Nentawe Picks Works Commissioner, Botmang As Running Mate

Governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda has picked Commissioner of works in the state Hon. Pam Botmang as his running mate for the 2023 governorship race in the state.
While unveiling Pam Botmang at the APC Secretariat in Jos, Wednesday, Yilwatda said after a series of consultations with APC officials and other critical stakeholders in the state “I am happy to announce to you that I have picked Botmang as my running mate in the 2023 governorship election in Plateau State.
The governorship candidate said Botmang possess a requisite experience to deputize him looking at his track records of achievement.
He said that he has a strong conviction that they will record a landslide victory at the polls, and if Plateau citizens to trust them with their votes they are ready to build the state economy around Youths.
“We can build new economy on the Plateau around young people, women and vulnerable group.
“While opposition parties are busy making propaganda about us we will continue selling our agenda. Therefore, I am calling on our supporters to engage in issues base campaign”, Yilwatda noted.
State chairman of APC, Hon. Rufus Bature said that he is very optimistic the party will have a safe landing as they would continue with the reconciliation to achieve victory come 2023 elections.
Bature charged party loyalists to disregard all sorts of propaganda the opposition parties are peddling against the APC on various media platforms.
He said the party is going to have a rancho free campaign noting that it’s candidate Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda has been cleared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, having fulfilled all the necessary requirements.
“Campaign will be at the polling units. There is not going to be a bogus campaign at party Secretariat in Jos, therefore, all APC members should go to their respective polling units and canvassed votes for the party.
” Our candidate is ready to fly the ticket as he has cleared by UBEC having gone through necessary process like any other candidate in the country.”
Accepting to be a deputy, the Commissioner of works Hon. Pam Botmang assured to continue demonstrating high sense of humility to his superior and the APC for the growth and development of Plateau.
