Prince of Sussex, Prince Harry, Wife to visit Nigeria on Friday

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has announced the arrival of Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife.
Prince Harry is honoured among world militaries for launching the Invictus games in 2024. Invictus games is a game among the wounded military personnel to avert their trauma and to recover fast from their conditions.
The statement was made known Journalists by Director of sports, Defence Headquarters, Air Vise Marshall, Abidemi Olufemi Marguis.
He said; “Headquarters and Invictus Games Foundation to tap from their knowledge.”
In his statement, he said, they realize that 80% of the wounded soldiers have been involved in this recovery program.
“They are open to life and are positive. You know when they engage in and you experience a permanent disability, you know issues, it can affect your mental health and also your attitude to life but the recovery program allows them to improve their personality to the mental health the emotional intelligence.
“They’ve been improved and also their families seeing them, they used to be breadwinners who are capable of continuing living. So this is giving us the opportunity. For recovery of our soldiers.
“Tomorrow there will be a meeting between the CDS and the Duke where they are going to discuss extensively.
“What we need to do and also what they can do to help the wounded and injured community in Nigeria and the need to continue this collaborative effort.
“I know and I also want to put it on record that the game that is coming up in Canada, CDS has approved the participation of Nigeria,” he noted.
Those present at the briefing, were the Director Defence Information, Brig. Gen. Tukur Gusau and some other senior officers of the Defence Headquarters, Abuja.
