Abia Monarch Tasks Community on Love, Unity

The new traditional ruler of the Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku Autonomous Community, in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State, His Royal Majesty, Eze Amaechi Kelvin Ugwueje, has stressed the need for his community to sustain love, peace and unity in the society, for a successful co existing in Abia State.

The traditional ruler who is worried at the rate of unemployment in his community and in the society, even with the great potentials inherent in the young people, stated that, that gives him a sleepless night, and promised to look into it, with the hope of tackling the problem in his community.

Eze Ugwueje who took over the kingship of his community from the late father of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra, late Eze Israel O Kanu  expressed the worry in his palace, when he was interacting with some journalists who called on him, he appealed to everyone, to come and put heads together with his administration, to enable them seek for a permanent solution to the youth unemployment in the community, through technology, driven creativity and proper management.

According to him, I know is a big task, but with God, all things are going to be possible, saying that God who has chosen me, will equip him to tackle some of the problems in the community.

Eze Amaechi Kelvin Ugwueje, who is an American trained nurse, promised not to disappoint his people, maintained that he will make sure that, his people lives a healthy life and appreciated the state government and his community for finding him worthy to represent them as their king and extended his olive branch to all who are aggrieved for one thing or the other, even those who drag it with him, to come and rebuild the community, for their community to move forward.

Stressing that as a host community to the state government, they must maintained love, unity, cooperation and peaceful co-existence, among their various tenants in the community.

His emergence as king, followed the demise of the late traditional ruler of Afaraukwu, His Royal Majesty, Eze Israel Kanu, who died some years ago.
