BURNA BOY, WIZKID WIN GRAMMY AWARDS 2021

At the Grammy awards 2021 held at Los Angeles, USA saw Nigeria bring home two big awards from its afrobeat’s pop stars Burna Boy and Wizkid.

Burna Boy cliched the award for “Best Global Music Album” with his album Twice as Tall which was released August 12, 2020.
Wizkid also won in the Best Video category for his song with Beyoncé, Brown Skin Girl from Lion King: The Gift album.
It was indeed an exciting night especially for Burna Boy who had lost out in this same category in 2020 to Angelique Kidjo,
Are they the First Nigerian Grammy award winners? not at all. We had Babatunde Olatunji, Sikiru Adepoju bring home a Grammy award too.
