A former Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda, has charged delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the state to vote for the Founder of Belema Oil, Tein Jack-Rich, at the presidential primary during the National Convention of the party.
According to him, the oil magnet has executed many projects in the north for the benefit of the people, pointing out that, “he went to Sokoto and did a water project there and this even earn him the title: “Sarkin Ruwan Hausa”. He’s currently building a hospital worth N6 billion in Daura. At the Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna, he is the one doing its extension. He is building a place for ablution for 300 people there.”
Yuguda, a two term Bauchi State Governor, and the Director-General of the Tein Jack-Rich Campaign Organization, was speaking when the presidential aspirant met with delegates of the state at a brief event which held at Hazibal Hotels and Suites.
“If me, your son, Isa Yuguda, did not keep aside the title of former governor, the title of former Minister and the title of MD and help you, who do you think will come and help you? And you see, this man is a Christian but when I saw what he is doing in Kaduna, I was convinced to support him.
“God will not come down from heaven and vote for you but he has given you ways in his book on how you can choose a leader. Today, he has given us a good man, God has shown us and this is left for us. If you vote for him, he have done it for yourself, for your family, for your grandchildren and for your country because before long, if he wins, you’ll see what he’ll come and do for you.
Detribalized, respected by all governors, Osinbajo is president’s top confidante , says El-Rufai
“If you see his plan for Nigeria, what touched my heart the more is the dredging of the River Niger and River Benue up to Baro up to Yola (Adamawa state) that he plans to do if elected. You know that was what boosted the economy of the north, ships were coming into the region from different countries of the world to export goods from the north.
“What I know best is banking work, how to boost the economy, honestly, you know I don’t do politics of deceit, I have not seen any intending leader come up with such a blueprint that he has of turning around Nigeria’s economy, you can’t fault his blueprint.
“And you’ll have to look for an aspirant who will take us out of the crises we are in.
Know this, my northern people, that killings are going on everywhere and it is not Buhari’s fault.
It is the fault of our attitudes and behaviours because any Muslim society you see being tested, know that we have offended God. And it is only him that can pardon us and reduce the catastrophe.
“And to reduce this catastrophe, he has shown us who to vote for because he has a good template to turnaround things in this country. Before he declared his intentions to contest, I was supporting a different aspirant who doesn’t have the template that he (Jack-Rich) has,” he said.
The former Aviation Minister told the delegates that Jack-Rich has never worked in government and so, he is using his hard-earned money for his aspiration pointing out that, “if people knew who he is, he would not need to come out, the people would be the ones to drag him into coming out to contest.”
“It has become compulsory for us to know what the country is going through and we need to know what we need to do to bring out a good candidate that will deliver us from this quagmire we are in. As far as I am concerned, there is no alternative to Jack-Rich.
If people knew he template you have for the turnaround of this country, other aspirants will surrender and step down for you,” Yuguda stated.
Speaking to the delegates, Jack-Rich who promised never to disappoint Nigerians if given the opportunity to lead them, urged the delegates to be mindful of who they vote for to get the ticket of the party.
He warned that if they vote for the wrong person and he wins, and he later takes a decision that affects them or does not mean well for the country, “we will suffer it.
Your children will ask you why you voted for such a person. Even your conscience will prick you on why you did that.”
Jack-Rich, however, vowed to ensure that everywhere is safe for Nigerians and he promised to ensure that there is free education for all Nigerian children.
“I am here to canvass for your votes so that I can be the party’s flag bearer and eventually win and become the President of Nigeria come 2023. I’m here as your son to say to you that you should vote for Jack-Rich at the APC convention. If you vote for me, I will remember you, I will not forget you and I will not isolate you.
“I will make sure that you have access to free education because it is key.
I will also make sure that our communities are safe through job creation for our youths. I will make sure that our traditional rulers are respected and I will ensure that the value system that we’ve been known for like respect for the elders will be enshrined in a manner that we’ve not seen before. Industrialization will be the key engine that will enhance economic activities
