LG Polls: APC Will Not Rig Election – John Mamman

Ahead of the Local Government elections scheduled to hold on the 6th of October, 2021 in Nasarawa State, the acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Nasarawa State Chapter, Dr John D. W. Mamman has said that his party will not rig the forthcoming Local Government election in the State, but would ensure Free, fair and credible election.

The State Acting Chairman who disclosed this in a chat with journalists in his house in Shabu at the weekend also said the APC has worked assiduously to ensure it victory at the poll come October 6th 2021 Local Government election in the State.

On the just concluded party’s wards and Local Government Congress as well as party’s primaries for Chairmanship and Councilorship elections. Dr. John D.W. Mamman has this to say. ” We restricted everybody party member including the Governor, Deputy Governor, Speaker Senators and members of House of Representatives to their wards to ensure free, fair and credible election.

” That has helped us alot in making sure that everyone is given fair hearing without interference from anybody.

” We also endured that everyone was given the opportunity to vote the candidates of their own choice, so you can see that our success came as a result of our efforts in ensuring transperancy and accountability during the election.”

He therefore called on the people of the State to ensure peace and harmony during and after the election,as there will be an enbling level playing ground for anyone to choose the candidates of his choice.

On his aspiration for the State Championship come October,16th 2021, Dr John D.W. Mamman said he is fully in the race for Chairmanship as he already declared his intention to contest for the party Chairmanship and called for the support and cooperation of all party members to enable him succeed on the enormous tasks ahead of him.
