Ongoing 2nd Africa Military Games Abuja 2024 Taekwondo/Boxing Competition

The team Nigeria in Taekwando tournament of Men and Women category won 5 Gold medals against two other top African Nations, Algeria and South Africa.
The Male Categories Won 3 Gold medals, while the female category won 2 gold medals.
Also, in Boxing Competition of the AMGA 2024, the Team, Male Category performed excellently alongside with other participating African Nations.
In the 75kg category, Nigeria won against Cape-Varde flawlessly as the opponent could not finish the 2nd round as a result of the heavy blow from Nigeria male team, while in 63.5kg Nigeria also won the same Cape-Varde 5-0 (Nil).
Unfortunately, Nigeria loses to Algeria 4-1 in the 51kg category.
Others highlights of the Boxing Competition Male Category are as follow: Ghana VS Cape-Varde (60kg) 5-0, Ghana and Tunisia (71.3kg) straight win from Tunisia as the Opponent could not withstand the heavy blow due to injury.
Also, Libya won Ghana 4-0 in 75kg category, Kenya won Uganda 5-0, South Africa won Libya 5-2, while Ghana later won in a walk over against Congo as a result of medical Implications.
The 2nd Africa Military Games of involving participants from top African nations such as Nigeria,Ghana, Algeria, Mali, South Africa, Libya, Tunisia, Cape Verde, amongst others do not only highlighted the athleticism and dedication of these individuals, but also promoted camaraderie and sportsmanship among the participating nations.
Overall, the Men and Women’s Taekwondo games at the 2nd Africa Military Games were a true testament to the spirit of competitive sportsmanship.
