Bandits:Tension as “Kaduna Boys” set to Destabilise Imo State —- Uwem

The former Security Officer attached to the Imo State Government during the late Evan Enwerem’s administration Chief Alphonso Uwem has revealed that dare devil bandits popularly called the “Kaduna Boys” sprang up in Imo State recently is capable of causing political, economic, Social and ethnic upheaval that would destabilise the entire state.

Speaking with Journalists at Rock View Hotel Owerri, Imo State recently, he lamented that this dare devil sect from the Northern Nigeria extraction has carried out vicious atrocities in the state ranging in killing, robbery, kidnapping and religious extremism.

Uwem highlighted that the bandits were allegedly being sponsored by the influential Hausa/ Fulani religious and business men operating in the state and are being backed up by some law enforcement agencies in Imo state

He further revealed that those bandits operating in the state were adequately provided with necessary mobility like latest model of Sienna buses and super motor bikes that have high speedometer to carry out their atrocious and catastrophic assignment in Imo State.

“Recently in Umuonyeche and Umuodu Communities in Owerri Municipal Council of Imo State these bandits attacked their vigilante outfits cut their neck and hands and when the indigenes of those Communities pursued them they ran to 34 Artillery Brigade Obinze and took refuge there”

He therefore called the Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma and other Security Operatives to safeguard the lives of lmolites from these sponsored Hausa/Fulani invaders in lmo State.

It could be recalled that the supreme leader of Hausa/ Fulani in Imo State Sarki Awal Baba Suleiman recently confirmed the heinous activities of these bandits popularly called the “Kaduna. Boys” and stated that some of them have been arrested and sent to the Correctional Center in the state

He further stated that the bandits did not come from one ethnic tribe of the Federation as some of them during their confessional statement revealed that the were from Benue State while others claimed to have migrated from Cross river State and among other States of the Federation, he concluded.
