President Mohamandu Buhari said his administration is committed to bring succour to Nigerians before the end of his tenure, as his government plans to build three new modular Refineries in IMO, Beyelsa and Edo state, to ease the cost of the premium motor spirits (PMS) otherwise known as petroleum when the new Refineries must has been completed by the end of 2021.

The President made this known on Friday in a Nationwide broadcast to mark Nigeria 61st Independence anniversary from the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

According to the President, it is expected that, Nigerians will pay less for the Motor spirit, which will eventually translate to low transportation of goods and services, and lower the cost of living among the Citizens.

Insecurity in the country is increasing, trotting the effort of government to secure lives and properties of Nigerians, which the President had finger some top government politicians to be sponsoring secessions in the country and vow that his government will do all within his power to bring to book those sponsoring the agitators.

According to the President, Nigerians has felt far better in the last six years, compared to the last sixteen years the country has returned to democracy and urged Nigerians to have faith, and support government to build a progressive nation, which every citizens will be proud of.

In the area of infrastructural development, the President said, the federal government will be committing over fifty billion naira to the sector which will help Nigeria tanks owners and other stakeholders in the sector to draw loan from.

But in the streets of Abuja, special suburbs where most of civil servant stay, it was a mist reactions.
Most of them who spoke with correspondent, felt being “let down” by Buhari regime as the high cost of food commodities in the markets have kept so many homes in hunger. Nigerian who want to remain anonymous, even sighted the sorry state of his condition when he said, “Oga, even pure water that ordinary man get is gone up and there is no government public tap for us to drink water. Wetin we go do, he ask?”
As early as 7am,all road leading to the city was blocked by security agencies which created a blockage for hours, kept most commuters stranded for long hours.

In Lugbe, Abuja. Nigerians were seen clustered in bars, why some were playing street football to keep the holidays.
It is unlikely, most Nigerians listen to broadcast as there was no light as of 7am when the President was on air.
