Football has now become a unifying factor in UK for both refugees, and assylum seekers.

A local football club in southern England, Sanctuary Strikers have been founded to bring the minorities together with the locals, where they will come together play football together, and learn together.

According to the founder of the club, Chalke who said, “this is the essence of the round leather game, It unites people together, and promotes community cohesion, and integration”.

Chalke, who is originaly from Zimbabwe, went further by saying, if you have something that people love like football then you can come together, and start talking, as you talk together, you learn from each other, culture, and build a relationship.

The club Sanctuary strikers was founded in 2017, in Reading. It brings minorities together with the locals, to learn English, make friends, and know about the city.
