My Desire Is To Ensure Crash Free Road-Gora

The Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), zonal commanding officer, Jos zone, Assistant Corps Marshall Wobin Ayuba Gora stated that his priority is to ensure motorists plying the route freely devoid of crash.
Gora who deployed from Abuja FRSC zone to Jos command revealed that the number vehicles in circulation is alarming which calls for road users most especially drivers to be more careful.
He made the statement when he paid a courtesy visit to Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat on Tuesday in Jos the state capital.
According to Gora, ” Journalists have helped me to get where I am today. We have a long lasting relationship together and I want it to continue.
“Human factor is one of the major reason responsible for crashes in Nigeria that claims many lives.
“Most often times crashes happened as a result of drivers carelessness due to over speeding, receiving or making phone calls while driving amongst others.
“Now that the ember period is here again, we will continue strengthening the bound synergy and collaboration with the media to reach the nocks and crannies of the society with sensitization awareness campaign to educate the road users.
“We are making effort to ensure that crashes were reduced to a bearest minimum”, Gora mentioned.
In his response, the NUJ chairman Plateau State Council, Comrade Paul Jatau applauded Corp Marshall Gora for identifying with journalists in the state.
He sue for the command’s more open door policy to enable journalists discharge their constitutional responsibility.
The NUJ chairman also appealed to road safety commission to aid in riding non members who bent in unwarranted used and abused of NUJ stickers.
