NNCAF Graduates 105 Naval Officers

The Nigerian Navy Collage of Account and Finance (NNCAF) at Owerrinta, Abia State has graduated 105 Naval Officers
The Commandant of the school Captain O A Eyitayo during the graduation ceremony stated that the institution run four courses which include Basic Officers Course, Petty Officers Qualifying Course, Leading Hand Qualifying course, and Basic Qualifying course.
He said that the Nigerian Navy College of Account and Finance NNCAF was named Nigerian Navy Ship Kamalu in 1993 when it was relocated from Sapele to Owerrinta, with Commander C.O Ifebuzo as the first Commanding Officer of the School.
Eyitayo said that on May 15, 2003
NNS Kamalu was renamed Nigerian Navy Finance and Logistics School Owerrinta, adding that in line with Nigerian Navy transformation agenda, on June 7, 2013, NNFLC was unbundled into the Nigerian Navy Collage of Account and Finance (NNCAF) and Nigerian Navy Logistics College ( NNLC).
Eyitayo further highlighted that on January 5, 2022 the Logistics Segment which formed NNLC was relocated to Dawakin Tofa, in Kano State while the Accounts and Finance Training Segment which formed the NNCAF remained in Owerrinta, Abia State.
