Sen. Wamakko Backs Special Prayer for Success of Incoming APC Administration in Sokoto

As part of the numerous programmes and activities lined up for the success of the upcoming inauguration of APC administration in Sokoto State, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman, the APC leader in the state, has welcomed the Transition Committee’s moves to organize a prayer session to seek divine assistance for the success of the incoming administration of Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto and Alhaji Idris Mohammed Gobir as Governor and Deputy in the State and that of the Federal Government of President-elect Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman, who is the APC leader in the state reiterated that the prayer was aimed at seeking Allah’s assistance for the prosperity, protection, peace of the APC administration in the State.
The amiable people’s Senator, Alhaji Wamakko, in his welcome address to the Chief Imams of various Jumu’at Mosques, Islamic scholars and many stakeholders in the State, appreciated and thanked them for their continued support and fervent prayers to APC leadership.
He further expressed his gratitude to them for attending the prayer session and assured them of their continued corporation at all times.

S.A Media to Senator Aliyu Wamakko reported that the prayer session was coordinated by Mallam Bashir Gidan Kanawa and conducted by 13 Islamic scholars.
Prominent among them was the Chief Imam of Sultan Bello Jumu’at Mosque, Imam Malami Akwara, Sarkin Mallaman Sokoto, Mallam Yahaya Na Malam Boyi, Alkalin Mallaman Sokoto, Mallam Umar Ahmad Helele and Mallam Bello Kofa.
Other scholars included: Sheikh Abdul’aziz Kofar Rini, Sheikh Yahuza Shehu Tambuwal, Mallam Yusuf Labbo and Mallam Nafiu Malami Dan Haja, among others.
The prayer session was attended by the Governor -in – waiting, Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, his deputy, Alh. Idris Mohammed Gobir, former Deputy Governor, Alh. Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo, two former Ambassadors, Abubakar Shehu Wurno and Sahabi Isah Gada
Others were: APC bigwig in the State, Alhaji. Umarun kwabo AA, Hon. Bala Hassan Abubakar, Member – elect, House of Representatives, Sokoto North and South Federal Constituency, politicians and business tycoons, among others.
The prayer was conducted at the Tinubu Hall, Gawon Nama Area, Sokoto.
